Directions to Abaco On Jervois
From the Northern Motorway:When approaching Auckland Harbour Bridge get into the left lane marked "Shelly Beach Road/Ponsonby – Turn off".
Come off at the first off ramp.
Drive up Shelly Beach Road to the traffic lights at the top of the hill.
Turn left into Jervois Road.
Abaco is on your left past the church – look for our Queen Palms.
From the Southern Motorway:
Leave the Southern Motorway at Nelson Street.
Go straight over into Nelson Street at the first set of traffic lights. Look for Wellesley Street on the left, or if you miss it the next left is Victoria Street.
Drive down the hill and go past the Victoria Park Market to your left with Victoria Park on your right.
Drive up the next hill, College Hill Road. Stay in the right hand lane. This road changes into Jervois Road at the top of the hill.
Abaco is number 57-59 Jervois Road - approx 600 metres along on your right.
Driving from the Airport:
Leave the airport down George Bolt Drive which becomes Hugh Watt Drive, stay in the right hand lane. Keep following the signs to Auckland. Do not take the Queenstown Road off ramp.
Turn right at traffic lights into Hillsborough Road, go to the end.
Turn left at the lights into Mt Albert Road then turn right at first lights into Mt Eden Road. This is a long and twisty road. Go to the end.
Turn right at lights into Symonds Street, move over into the lefthand lane, then turn first left into Newton Road
This crosses Karangahape Road and and becomes Ponsonby Road.
Follow this road to the end and turn left into Pompalier Terrace then first right into Redmond Street.
At the end of this road turn left into Jervois Road and move over into the right hand lane.
Abaco is approx 500 metres along on the right at 57-57 Jervois Road.
Taxi from the airport can cost NZ$60-$80 at peak time.
A Super Shuttle door to door service operates, and can take up to an hour approx cost $30 for two passengers.
