Your hosts - the Monk family (Winston and Bernard, along with their mother and late father "Ham") have been in the hotel business at Paroa for over 50 years.
Our unique hotel (built of stone) offers a lisenced restaurant, choice of two bars and a bottle store. We also provide superb accommodation in our 12 well-appointed, modern (recently refurbished) motel units.
Paroa Hotel/Motel is set in relaxing garden surroundings, we are only a 2 minute stroll from an unspoilt beach. From the beach, Mount Cook can be seen rising out of the sea and our breathtaking sunsets have to be seen to be believed.
